Im a design advisor and concept developer. I help companies and organizations devise meningful design- and brand strategies. And I design the product and service concepts to help implement those strategies.

Im interested in technology. How we interact with machines and other artifacts. How design thinking can be applied to humanize technologies.
How to design intuitive and ergonomic products, services and interfaces.
Im interested in the cultural context of design. How people understand, interact and communicate with eachother. How people use products (artifacts) as identity markers. How products play a role in the rituals of our lives.
How to design brands, i.e. artificial cultures.
Im interested in how sensory stimuly affects us emotionally.
How to create attractive, multi-sensory experiences, which triggers an emotional attachment to a brand.
Im interested in innovation strategies.
How design thinking can be used to create innovative user experiences. Im especially interested in aesthetic innovation, how to create brand specific aesthetic languages.
Im interested in the green revolution, the industrial paradigme shift that needs to happen, so we can keep out planet habitable.
How to create products and services that support and condition and sustainable lifestyle. How to create products and technologies that will be a part of the ecosystem, instead of destroying it.
I hold a masters degree in architecture and industrial design from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, Copenhagen. Graduated in 2001.
Working as a designer, the formative projects has been:
“3D identity” for Danske Bank, Kontrapunkt.
Designstrategy for Grundfos, CBD.
Concept design for Jabra, CBD.
City branding of Århus by design urban furniture, Knud Holscher Industriel Design
Development of a new design language for Lexi Pens, Onio Design, India.
I also teach a semester course in design. My students has among other companies, helped Siemens and Nilfisk-Advance in their innovation efforts.
And I conduct research trying to uncover the relation between product design and brand builing at the Center for Design Research, Copenhagen.
